On the first day of school at Murray, middle school students kicked off the year with a creative Blackout Poetry icebreaker! Students transformed existing text into unique poems by carefully selecting and “blacking out” words to reveal new meanings and ideas. It was a fun, low-pressure way for students to get creative, express themselves, and start getting to know one another while setting the tone for an exciting year of learning at Murray!

As the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career.

American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence.

They will receive this recognition at National Convention this fall.
