We were able to do the Bountiful Handcart parade this past Saturday. It was so much fun! One of the parents (me) overheard a mom watching the parade say "Look kids, it's Murray High! That's where your Dad went to High School!" š

We're a little late posting, but our first parade of the season was the Taylorsville Parade! When else can you safely walk down 5400 South?! Playing under the i215 overpass is a favorite experience of the band.

CONGRATULATIONS to Alani our new Marching Band Drum Major. We had several students do excellent auditions and Alani was selected to be our Student Conductor next year.

It's official! After several years of work and waiting, WE ARE ORDERING OUR NEW MARCHING BAND UNIFORMS!! Our marching band got re-started by Mr. Giddings in 2017 without the funding for full uniforms and they made the most of it.
When Mr. Beckstrand took over the next year we could only get the funding for a set of used uniforms.
We have loved those uniforms for 5 years now and we're excited for the students to get a NEW uniform that will be more comfortable, cleanable, modern, and a uniquely Spartan look.
Our new uniforms are designed to be modular, so you'll see several different variations across the season including a multipurpose uniform for our Colorguard.
We owe a huge thank you to Principal Quinn Linde and the whole administration for their help and support in this process.
