Murray Middle School School Resource Officer Patrick Morris conducts a DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) class for fifth grade students. Students meet two times a week for nine weeks. Each student receives their own workbook. They go over the DARE - Drug Abuse Resistance Education. Each students receives a workbook and Daren the lion Mascot assists Morris in the lessons.

At the end of program, a graduation will be held. Students will receive a gift certificate, t-shirt, and a pizza party.

Mrs. Kough’s Murray Elementary Class was chosen as the Murray State Athletics Classroom of the Month.
The Classroom of the Month program recognizes outstanding local classrooms while providing students an opportunity to connect with Murray State student-athletes and Racer Athletics. As part of the recognition, MSU athletic team members visit classrooms to celebrate students and spend time with them.

The special visit by MSU's Dunker always brings a happy smile to student's faces as they share their learning with Dunker! Thanks to Southern Family Dental for sponsoring!

Congratulations to the 2026 Murray High School Football Queen Homecoming Court. The MHS Football Queen crowning will take place Friday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Ty Holland Stadium.

The MHS Tigers will host Russellville High School Panthers.

Kick-off is 7 p.m.

Grandparents are special and Murray Elementary School honors Grandparents. Grandparents visit their elementary school grandchildren throughout the designated celebration. Mrs. Amy McCann's first grade students express their kind thoughts and love of their grandparents!
