Pre-Camp sessions are being held at Murray High School in preparation for the annual Murray High School band camp that begins Monday, July 20, 2026. Shout out to our students, their instructors, and the parent volunteers who assist with the successes of this camp!

Exciting news for our Murray Calloway Area Technology Center students and staff! We extend our sincere appreciation and thanks for the addition of a SRO at our ATC. We are very thankful for our relationship with the Murray Police Department and the safety they provide to the Murray Independent School District!

During the Murray Board of Educaation July meeting the Murray Independent School District Board of Education unanimously approved the revised post-bid for construction of a new Murray Elementary School, with a project totaling $42,880.862.21. The construction contract totals $38,088,200 with additional costs, bringing the total project close to nearly $42.9 million.

Murray High School 2026 graduates, Madelyn Kough and Reed Jarvis were each awarded a $500 scholarship from Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects.

A new Safety Resource Officer has been added to the Area Technology Center.

The May 2027 Murray High School graduation date was set for May 21, 2027.

The MISD Transportation team met for training today at the Murray Board of Education. Dr. David Meinschein, EdD., MISD Superintendent, and Jay Bordeaux, MISD Transportation Director, greeted the team. Transportation safety and training communication was conducted today, preparing the team for back to school in August.
