Heads up, students! Evaluate your dual credit course NOW.
Tomorrow, April 17th, is the last day to drop a course and receive a 'W' (Withdrawal) on your transcript. This will have no impact on your GPA.

If you are not doing well in your course, ask your instructor if it will be possible to finish the semester with a good grade. If that is not possible, we strongly suggest dropping your course. Message us if you have any questions!

New Dual Credit Course!

MUS 102, School of Rock, will be offered as dual credit for the fall semester. It is 100% online with no required meeting times.

This course will explore the evolution of rock and popular music through the past century, including country, blues, rhythm and blues, psychedelic rock, soul, Motown, funk, punk, pop, hard rock, heavy metal, alternative, and so many more. Your instructor, Dr. Tammy L Turner, will guide you through the historical and cultural contexts, characteristics, and significance of the styles. You will also learn about the artists and bands who created and popularized these styles. School of Rock is perfect for the music enthusiast who wants to learn more about the history and styles of 20th and 21st century popular music.

This course will count towards your University Studies Creative Perspectives category and qualifies for a Dual Credit Scholarship through KHEAA.
