Today is the day! Help us kick off Philanthropy Week 2026 at the MAG! Join us for art activities, refreshments and a tour of the new Murray Art Guild facility. It's a beautiful facility & it is shaping up to be a beautiful day! Students can catch the round trip shuttle from the Curris Center.

Join us one week from today for Darkness to Light, a free child abuse prevention training facilitated by Lotus. This event is free and open to the public as part of Philanthropy Week 2026. Register today!

One week from today we kick off Philanthropy Week 2026 with an Open House at the Murray Art Guild! The MAG celebrated the Grand Opening of their new facility recently. Join us Monday, the 6th from 6:00-7:30p.m. to celebrate the new space with community art activities, tours of the Guild and refreshments! Thanks to MSU Town & Gown, there will be a free shuttle running from the MSU Curris Center for the duration of the event.

Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual MSU Philanthropy Week, April 6-10! This year's programming focuses on nonprofits serving children and families. All events are free and open to the public.

I had the honor to share the incredible resources available through Murray State University's Nonprofit Leadership Studies program and the Nonprofit Resource Center with
CUBS (Calloway United Benevolent Services) yesterday. I am extremely proud of the students who came to share their learning experiences with the many organizations serving Calloway county and wider West Kentucky. It was also a sensational honor to have President Ron Patterson, Ed.D. join us to meet representatives from our thriving nonprofit sector.

There isn't a person in Calloway county whose life has not been touched by this incredible woman during her lifetime of labor and dedication to the organizations that serve this community. Please join me tomorrow for an informational and inspirational conversation with Mrs. Donna Herndon.
