Your OEA leadership team loved welcoming educators at Opening Institute! ❤️

This year’s theme—The Power of Yet—is one we can really get behind.

✨ You’re not a leader… yet.
✨ You aren’t an OEA member… yet.
✨ You haven’t found your place in our association… yet.

That little word reminds us that there’s always room to learn, grow, connect, and get involved—and OEA is here to help you do it!

Ready to join us? Become an OEA member at https://myuea.org/join.

Already a member and ready to take the next step? Reach out to a member of your OEA Executive Board. We’d love to help you find ways to get involved, grow as a leader, and strengthen our association.

There’s power in YET—and even more power in US. ❤️💪

Utah public schools serve 90.1% of our state’s students. That means public education is part of every community in Utah. 🍎

Every student deserves a strong public school and the opportunity to thrive, no matter where they live. This back-to-school season, UEA's nearly 18,000 members are proud to welcome them back. Student success is at the heart of everything we do.

Teachers shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to make sure their classrooms have what students need. Parents shouldn’t have to fill the gap either.

UEA President Renée Pinkney joined KSL NewsRadio’s Inside Sources to talk about how parents can support educators as students head back to school.
