Another outstanding student project is complete!
We are incredibly proud of Mr. Camden's class for designing and building these beautiful new entrance signs for the Murphysboro School District. These signs are a testament to the talent, dedication, and craftsmanship of our Career and Technical Education students.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible:

đź”´ Dave Clarke of Clarke Concrete for his expertise and assistance with the concrete work.

🟡 William Todd, and Patrick Todd of A&W Plumbing for transporting the signs and helping set them in place.

đź”´ Josh Williams, for preparing each sign site and assisting with the installation.

🟡 The Murphysboro School District Administration. Especially Dr. Andrea Evers, for your continued support of Career and Technical Education and for providing students with meaningful, real-world learning opportunities.

đź”´ Lastly and most importantly, thank you to each and every student that had a hand in making this possible. Three signs in one year is very impressive. Two class periods a day with other projects in between makes this a remarkable accomplishment.

These signs represent much more than school pride. They represent teamwork, community partnerships, and the incredible things students can accomplish when they're given the opportunity to apply their skills in a real-world setting.

Great job, Mr. Camden and his classes! We couldn't be more proud of what you've accomplished. 🎉🔨❤️💛

The "new" Murphysboro High School sign had some work done to it this week. We finally have a slate style stamped concrete area around our student constructed sign that was erected last year.

Still a little dirt work, retaining wall and maybe some landscaping to go. Thank you to Tim Hartwick for the concrete work.

Big upgrade in the high school foods room!

After last summer’s cabinet and countertop renovations, we’re excited to show off the brand-new flooring that really brings the whole space together.

This has truly transformed the room into a more modern, functional, and welcoming environment for our students.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Elwell and Mr. Williams for putting in the time and hard work over spring break to get the flooring installed. Their dedication continues to make a direct impact on the quality of our programs and student experience.

We’re proud of the progress and can’t wait for students to enjoy the updated space!

Today we proudly celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our CNA students as they received their pins! This milestone represents their hard work, dedication, and commitment to caring for others, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.

A special thank you to Mrs. Brittany Lockhart for her passion, leadership, and unwavering support in guiding these students through their journey. We also extend our gratitude to the administration of Murphysboro High School and CTE Director Josh Williams for their continued commitment to student success and career readiness.

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to SIH for the vital role they play in helping educate our CNA students. Their partnership, along with hosting and celebrating the CNA pinning ceremony, makes this experience truly meaningful. We could not—and would not want to—do this without their support.

Congratulations again to our CNA students on this well-earned achievement. Your future in healthcare is bright!
