💙 Same Purpose. Stronger Together. 💙
What a great TCSE Institute Day! We spent time laughing, learning, reflecting, and reconnecting to the reason behind everything we do—our students.
Gerry Brooks brought plenty of laughter, but also some powerful reminders: build relationships, choose your words carefully, protect your well-being, look through someone else’s lens, keep growing, and find the GOOD in each day. ❤️
And perhaps the most important reminder of all: These are someone’s babies. Every student who walks through our doors deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, patience, and love.
Our teams also took time to reflect on our TCSE values:
Dignity • Growth • Accountability • Collaboration • Inclusion
Celebrating what is going well and identifying where we can continue to grow. Collaboration continues to be a strength across our teams, and we are committed to continuing to grow and hold ourselves accountable to the students, families, and districts we serve.
We laughed a LOT, learned together, and left with some simple reminders that we hope will stick long after Institute Day is over.
Now comes the most important part—putting it into action.
Tomorrow, choose the relationship. Choose the kind words. Look through someone else’s lens. Support your teammates. Hold yourself and one another accountable. Find something GOOD. Keep growing. And above all, make sure every student who crosses your path knows they matter.
That is how our values become more than words. That is how we make a difference for someone else’s baby. And that is what we are here for. 💙
