This week has been full of exciting news for Growing Tree Learning Center!

📚We will have enrollment packets ready on June 22nd! Spots are filling up fast so make sure you get your spot before it’s too late!📚

We will have an opening date announcement soon as well as an open house date! Stay tuned!

Happy Friday!

We have been very busy since closing on the property last Tuesday! Construction has started and the phone has been ringing like crazy. I would like to answer some frequent questions i am getting-

-what ages are we taking?
6wks-12 yrs depending on the demand. We are going to have two classrooms-1 for infant/toddlers and 1 for prek/school age depending on the age we get more of.

-when will we open?
We are planning on the beginning of fall depending on when we get our DCFS permit to open!

-when will we be enrolling?
We are currently enrolling for the fall. If you’d like to wait until we have a date of opening, keep a look out!

Each year staff that are employed at a licensed childcare center are required to have 15 hours of continuing education-trainings in person, trainings online, conferences; any form of training and learning. Honestly conferences are my favorite as i feel you get the most out of learning through a week long of trainings and discussions and sharing with peers of information taught.

This week i attended the leadership connections conference hosted in Schaumburg, IL. This is the second year i have attended and each year i leave with much knowledge on how to be a better version of myself for my peers and my children that i teach. Training, educating, and supporting my staff to be the best they can be for the children we care for each day is the most important to me. I am only as strong as my team is.

I left this week of training fueled with knowledge to be successful in my future with my business, my upcoming staff and families,….and some free toys!😬 Growing Tree has a great future ahead!💜

Hello! My name is Savannah Guercio and i am the owner and director of Growing Tree Learning Center!

About me-
I have worked in childcare for over 10 years with experience of teaching all ages and look forward to teaching your babies! I was born in Carbondale, Illinois and spent lots of my childhood in the Herrin area. I currently reside in Carterville with my 2 dogs 🐶 when i am not working or chasing two dogs, i enjoy being around my family, taking care of my plants, and doing anything outside!

My biggest goal for Growing Tree Learning Center is to create a place for children to learn, grow, and feel safe being theirselves as they reach each milestone.

I am laying roots for the future 🌳

I can’t wait to start this journey with you! To stay updated on updates of enrollment, opening date, and everything in between-make sure to follow the page! Our goal is to be open fall 2026!
