Things are taking shape at our workforce housing project!

Two of the first three homes are now showing significant progress as our students continue to put their skills to work during the fall semester.

House 1: The exterior is now complete, including the porch railings, steps, and step railings. Insulation installation will be one of the next steps as work continues inside the home.

House 2: Plumbing rough-in is complete, and David Hughes, Electrical Systems Technology/Electrical Engineering Technology Instructor, and his students are busy installing the electrical work. Siding installation is coming up next, followed by the next phase of plumbing work.

We're excited to watch these homes come together through the hard work and hands-on skills of our TCCC students. Follow along as we continue to share updates and highlight their progress throughout the project!

Celebrating and Honoring Dolly Parton with a little kindness! 🦋

It’s Dolly Parton Day, and we’re celebrating one of the things Dolly did best - spreading kindness!

Dolly had a wonderful way of reminding us that a little kindness can go a long way. A smile, a helping hand, an encouraging word, or simply making someone’s day a little brighter can make a big difference.

At TCCC, we believe in lifting each other up, supporting our students, and making a positive difference in our community - one small act of kindness at a time.

Want to learn a little more about Dolly and her inspiring life? Stop by the TCCC Library and check out our Dolly Parton book display!

Today, let’s celebrate and honor Dolly by spreading a little extra kindness. Who can you encourage, help, or brighten up today?
