Classes are also offered in clogging, baton twirling, acro, ballroom, contemporary and modern dance as interest allows. In an environment which celebrates each and every student's talents and abilities, MSOD seeks to provide a create outlet for student self-expression and to promote and atmosphere of community and compassion. The studio is prepped, our rosters are ready, our playlists are fresh, our lesson plans are flowing, and our hearts are SO ready to welcome our dancers back! 🧑‍🩰🩰🕺🤸🏻‍♀️

We’ve been working behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for another incredible season at MSOD, and OPENING WEEK IS JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY! 🥳🥳🥳

✨ MEET THE APPRENTICE - BRISTOL MOORE! ✨

Meet Miss. Bristol Moore, our final MSOD student apprentice this season! 🧑‍🩰 Bristol is 15 years old and has been dancing with MSOD for 4 years. This will be her first season apprenticing, after having her brief mentorship this summer! She instantly loved it! 🥰

Bristol trains in Hip Hop, Ballet, and Lyrical, with Hip Hop being her favorite style! 🕺✨

Bristol says, "I love being an apprentice because I like to put my experience forward to teach others and build not only their skills in dance, but also their confidence in doing so!" 🥹🩷

She is so excited to continue apprenticing and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back to the studio and share her love of dance with others!

Outside of the studio, Bristol enjoys playing guitar from time to time 🎸 and is currently learning sign language! 🤟✨

We are so excited to have Bristol continuing her journey as an MSOD Student Apprentice and can’t wait to watch her grow as a dancer, student teacher, and role model! 💃

✨ MEET THE APPRENTICE - JENSEN HOYT! ✨

Meet Mr. Jensen Hoyt, another one of MSOD’s star studded student apprentices! 🕺 Jensen is 14 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. This is his first year as a Student Apprentice, and he is so excited for the opportunity to give back and inspire younger dancers! 👯‍♂️

Jensen trains in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tumbling, and Ballet, with Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop being his favorite styles! 🪩 (so basically all of them 😜)

Jensen has looked up to MSOD’s Student Apprentices ever since he was little. They inspired him to work hard, become a better dancer, and continue growing—and now he is excited to have the opportunity to be that person for someone else. 💙

Jensen says, "my goals are to be a positive role model, help younger dancers build confidence, encourage everyone to work hard and have fun, and to continue to grow as both a dancer and a leader!" 🥹😎

Outside of the studio, Jensen is involved in marching band at MHS 🥁 and is proud to be one of the few male dancers at MSOD! He has also been dancing since he was just 2 years old! 👟✨

Jensen’s motto as a dancer and apprentice is: “Work hard, stay humble, and always dance with your heart!” 💙

We are so excited to have Jensen joining our MSOD Student Apprentice Program this season and can’t wait to watch him continue to grow as a dancer, leader, student teacher, and role model! 🌟

✨ MEET THE APPRENTICE - AVA TRUETT! ✨

Meet Miss. Ava Truett, another one of MSOD’s incredible student apprentices! 🧑‍🩰 Ava is 13 years old and has been dancing with MSOD for 9 years. This is her second year as an apprentice, and after absolutely loving her first year, she is so excited to continue!

Ava trains in Pointe, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tumbling. Picking a favorite style is almost impossible because she truly loves them all for different reasons! But if she had to choose: Pointe, Lyrical, and Tumbling have a special place in her heart. 🩰🤸🏻‍♀️

Ava says, "dance has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Ever since I could walk, I’ve been dancing around. Becoming an apprentice has given me the chance to grow not only as a dancer but as a leader. I love encouraging others, especially younger dancers, and getting to celebrate their “I did it!” moments with them. Watching their confidence grow as they learn new skills is one of the most rewarding parts of this opportunity. I’m excited to continue learning, serving, and giving back to the studio that has given me so much." 🥹🩷

Outside of the studio, Ava has some pretty fun talents and experiences! 🤩 She can impersonate different accents from around the world pretty well, and she is already the proud auntie to 5 nieces and nephews; so she has plenty of experience keeping up with little ones and bringing the FUN! 😜

We are so excited to have Ava continuing her journey as an MSOD Student Apprentice and can’t wait to watch her grow as a dancer, tumbler, student teacher, leader, and role model! 💕

✨ MEET THE APPRENTICE - MADILYN BROOKS! ✨

Meet Miss. Madilyn Brooks, another one of MSOD’s fabulous student apprentices! 🧑‍🩰 Madilyn is 14 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. This is her second year as an apprentice, and she loves having the opportunity to share her passion for dance with our younger dancers! 👯‍♀️

Madilyn trains in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Tumbling, with Lyrical being her favorite style! 🩵

Madilyn says, "I like apprenticing because I enjoy working with kids. It has been a goal of mine since I was a little dancer." 💗 She loves being able to encourage younger dancers and be a part of their dance journey. 🥹

Outside of the studio, Madilyn has some pretty exciting accomplishments and experiences! She was a UCA All-American Cheerleader and had the opportunity to perform at Disney World! 🏰✨ She also recently got to experience a concert at The Sphere in Las Vegas! 🎶🌟

We are so excited to have Madilyn continuing her journey as an MSOD Student Apprentice and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow as a dancer, student teacher, and role model in our studio! 💕
