💀🦴 We’ve got a BONE to pick with boring assignments! 🦴💀

Our Health Science students got creative with their “Dem CRAZY Bones” Skeletal System Project! 🎨

Students put their knowledge of the skeletal system to the test by labeling bones, identifying different types of joints, and creating unique scenes for their skeletons!

We loved seeing their personalities shine through their projects! I think it’s safe to say they had a skele-TON of fun! 🤭🦴

🌎🔥 Earth & Environmental Science got HANDS-ON today! 🔥🌎

Who says learning about plate tectonics has to stay in a textbook?! 😎

Today, our students got their hands dirty with clay as they built models of the major plate tectonic boundaries! 🧱🌋🌊

🔹 Divergent boundaries — plates move APART ⬅️➡️
🔹 Convergent boundaries — plates COLLIDE 💥
🔹 Transform boundaries — plates SLIDE past one another ⚡

Students had to think like scientists, build like engineers, and use their models to demonstrate how Earth’s moving plates shape our planet! 🌍🧠💪

From mountain ranges and earthquakes to volcanoes and new crust, these clay creations helped turn an abstract concept into something students could see, touch, and explain! 🌋🏔️🌊

🧪 Science is better when you can get your hands on it!

Seniors and families, do not miss out on money for college tuition!
Current Maximum Pell Grant $7,395
FAFSA is your first step to receiving the Pell Grant, gets you qualified for low-interest Federal Loans, and is the key to your eligibility to participate in work-study programs at your chosen university.

Normally, FAFSA opens October 1st, but this year, it is already up and rolling!

Remember, if you plan to attend Tri-County Community College during summer 2027 to finish a degree that you started in high school, you will also need to complete the 26/27 FAFSA.

If you do not need to attend summer classes at TCCC next year, and plan to enter college in the fall of 2027, you will only need to complete the 27/28 FAFSA.
