September 11, 2011... Class of 2005, we were Freshmen and the first hijacked plane crashed in to Tower 1 during first period. I remember the TV's around the school slowly start to come on. 2nd period comes, and we see the second plane intentionally crash in to Tower 2 LIVE, a nightmare was unfolding before our eyes. Probably the single most impactful memory from my 4 years at Riverdale. How do you remember 9/11/11?

Life Legacy

Robert Anthony Sullivan age 27 of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday February 24, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, he is survived by his mother Penny Sullivan, step-father Robbie (Bobby) Redfearn both of Murfreesboro, sister; Ariel Sullivan, grandparents; Robert L. and Dovie Maynard, nephew; Tristan Anthony Sullivan, his aunt Peggy Gammon-Nelson, uncle Bobby Maynard and his wife Tina, aunt Kathy Smith all of Murfreesboro, and eight cousins.

Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his father; James Anthony Sullivan, Grandparents; Grady Wayne and Dorothy Earlene Sullivan, and an Uncle Thomas Wayne Sullivan.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Byers officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. On line condolences may be made to www.woodfinchapel.com 893-5151.

For those who may have not heard yet, we lost another classmate and alum from our graduating class. Rob Sullivan died last night in terrible motorcycle wreck on I-24, close to Riverdale. Keep Rob's family and friends in your prayers.
