MTSU Air Raiders

Air Raiders is a college based chapter of Women in Aviation, International (WAI) at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Everyone is welcome.

Women in Aviation Air Raiders is a chapter of one of the world's largest aerospace organizations. We cooperate with other aerospace organizations in and out of school to host events, fundraisers, and contribute to the community. As a chapter we will go on at least one aerospace related trip per semester as well as other activities such as socials, sporting events, and other outreach programs. Our main event is the Women in Aviation Conference that takes place yearly in the Spring. It is the largest aerospace conference in the country! We are excited to have you come check us out and get involved in the aerospace department and community!

Our very first Girls in Aviation Day was a success! ✈️💕

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to learn, connect, encourage one another, and celebrate the future of aviation. It was so special to see our community come together to inspire the next generation of aviators. 💙

We were also honored to announce the official proclamation recognizing the third Saturday of September as Girls in Aviation Day in the state of Tennessee! 📜✈️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported, volunteered, and helped make this day possible. We are so proud of what we accomplished together and cannot wait to continue growing this event for years to come! ✈️
