As we begin a new academic year, we welcome our students, professors, and staff back to Chowan University with a challenge for our entire campus community: Be the Light. ✨
Matthew 5:16 reminds us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
At Chowan, that light can shine anywhere: in the classroom, on the field, in an office, across campus, or simply through an encouraging word to someone who needs it.
Every student, professor, and staff member has the opportunity to make a difference. Together, we can create a community where people feel welcomed, supported, encouraged, and valued.
