Becky Brock Baxter ('05) entered her eternal home on July 17, after a courageous and fierce battle with cancer. While our hearts ache for those who loved her, we find comfort knowing that she is now healed and at home with her Savior.

Becky was part of a family whose roots run deep at MTCS. Her parents, Kirk and Lisa Brock (former MTCS Elementary Principal), her brother Brandon Brock ('03), and her cousins Jonathan Sims ('07), Justin Sims ('10), Sara Sims Harper ('11), Josh Bowers ('11), and Ethan Bowers have all been a part of the MTCS family. Today, Becky's legacy continues through her daughters, Sara Jo and Evelyn, who are current MTCS students.

Please join us in praying for the Baxter and Brock families during this difficult time. We ask God to surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead.

2019 Alumnus of the Year Greg Armstrong ('92) is running 250 miles from NYC to DC with a small group of ultrarunners for Chasing Democracy 250. Starting today and ending July 4, the 250-mile run from Liberty State Park to the steps of the U.S. Capitol celebrates 250 years of American independence and carries forward the unfinished work of democracy. We wish Greg and his fellow runners luck, health, and good weather as they quickly make their way through the course. Camp Hy-Lake holds sweet memories for so many of us making it one of our favorite traditions. We are grateful for the 30 alumni who are giving their time, energy, and hearts to invest in our campers this week.

🎓 We welcomed 54 new members to the MTCS Alumni Association this morning. It was a fun time together over breakfast and a soda bar, along with the opportunity to pray over our graduating seniors as they step into what’s next. Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🧡
