Hello all,
If your child participated in our Fall photo day on Wednesday, October 9,2024 their photos will be back for you to view and to purchase on October 25, 2024 from 3pm-6pm.
Also each child will receive a tote bag as well with their photo on it.

Good morning. Happy BLACK History Month!

Today's fact will be about John Lewis. John was an American civil rights leader and a politician. He was best known for his chairmanship of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and for leading the march that was halted by police violence on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, in 1965, a landmark event in the history of the civil rights movement that became known as “Bloody Sunday.”

He also was one of the original freedom riders in 1961 riding through the South. Lewis also helped organize lunch counter sit ins and non-violent protest in Nashville where he studied at Fisk University.
