The Fulbright Canada-Mitacs Globalink Internship Program gives U.S. undergraduate students the opportunity to spend 10–12 weeks conducting research with faculty at Canadian universities during Summer 2027.

What’s included:
• Research experience at a Canadian university
• Opportunities across a wide range of disciplines
• International academic and professional experience
• Access to the Fulbright network
• Grant of up to CAD $9,000

Eligibility: U.S. undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens with a valid passport, have one to three semesters remaining as of Fall 2027 and have previous research experience. A GPA of 3.8 or higher is recommended.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Rebekka King as she prepares to depart MTSU at the end of the summer.

A Professor of Religious Studies and active faculty resident, Dr. King has made a meaningful impact on Honors students through her engaging teaching and dedicated mentorship. She has guided numerous thesis projects across a wide range of disciplines and challenged students to think deeply about complex ideas.
In 2022, Dr. King was recognized with the Outstanding Honors Faculty Award for her exceptional contributions to the Honors community.

As she transitions to a new role teaching in Canada this fall, we wish her all the best and thank her for the many ways she has enriched the Honors College. Her influence will continue to be felt for years to come.
