Read To Succeed Read To Succeed is the community literacy initiative of Rutherford County.

Read To Succeed improves lives in Rutherford County by offering free literacy programs and events for adults, families and children. We support this mission by:

-fostering literacy partnerships between providers, educators, community helpers, and business owners
-creating community events and programming to promote literacy
-providing resources such as the Literacy Center and our website.


It is our policy to comply with all aspects of an affirmative action plan, such as utilizing minority and women-owned businesses whenever possible, providing open access to records, and being an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Thank you, Dolly Parton, for the music, love, and joy you shared, and for creating a beautiful legacy of literacy that has placed books into the hands and hearts of children across Tennessee and beyond. We appreciate our wonderful volunteers, Jenn and Johanna, for sharing the literacy love and information about Read To Succeed at the Community Baby Shower this past Saturday.
It's a wonderful community event for expectant mothers in our community held by the Rutherford County Health Department.
