Have a child that needs to build confidence, improve grades, or move ahead at a faster pace? I'd love to help.
I am a reading, writing, and math tutor witih many years of experience for kids in kindergarten-5th grade.
Beginning on 9/1, I will have space in my schedule for a few new students, but don't wait! Availability is extremely limited and openings usually fill quickly.

This semester, I have a couple of special offerings for homeschoolers:

Math Masterminds Club (Games for practicing basic math facts)
*Grades 2-3
*2:30 to 3:30 on Tuesdays
*Limit 6 club members (must have 4 for the class to make)
*$20/week, paid monthly
*registration ends September 15

Bookworms Club
*3rd-4th grade reading levels
* 1:00-2:00 Thursdays
*Limit 6 club members (must have 4 for the class to make)
*$20/week paid monthly
*registration ends Sept. 15th

One of the things I love about tutoring is developing long-term relationships with my students and their families, so I have a happy/sad situation right now. Several of my long-time students are aging out of my tutoring program this month. I’m proud of them for moving on, but I’ll miss them and their parents dearly.

On the bright side, though, I have some openings in my schedule. If you know anyone who might need a kindergarten-5th grade reading and/or math tutor, summer is a great time to start!

I’m planning on doing a cursive writing camp on Mondays and a multiplication camp on Tuesdays for groups of 5 students. PM me for more details.

I’m starting to think about summer time learning.
I wonder if there might be any interest in 10-day skills clubs? There will be a minimum class size of three and a maximum of five students per club. Cost will be $250 for each 2-week class and include materials. Classes will be fun and give your kid a chance to get ahead of the curve.

**Cursive Writing Club (3rd and 4th grades together)

**2nd and 3rd grade Multiplication Challenge

**3rd and 4th grades Multiplication Challenge

**Fraction Action Club—for rising 5th graders (learn to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compare, and understand fractions)

**Phonics Fun (1st and 2nd grades)

**2nd Grade Bible Story Book Club

**3rd Grade Bible Story Book Club

**Constitution Club-study of the US Constitution for rising 4 and 5th graders

***Concrete Creations***—Arts and crafts class for parents and kids. We will make Hypertufa flower pots and bowls for you to take home. This class will be one 2-hour session and projects must dry in place 48 hours. Limit of 3 parent/student teams. This project is extremely messy. Finding a meeting place may be a challenge. I’m hoping to keep the cost to $75 per team, including supplies, but I may have to rent space.
