Crain Reading Center I provide one on one personalized reading instruction to students with a reading disability or reading difficulties using the Orton Gillingham based approach.

I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association and a Certified Orton Gillingham Tutor. I am a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor specializing in learners with dyslexia or reading difficulties. I have been a homeschool mom/educator for the past 11 years to my son, who is also dyslexic and my two daughters.

Happy October! October is also Dyslexia Awareness Month! Crain Reading Center will be holding a giveaway in honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month. If you have a dyslexic child have them submit either a short video clip or email in their name, age and one thing they feel like they excel at and one thing they wish other people understood about dyslexia.
I will be accepting submission all month. The deadline will be October 30th. On Sunday, November 1, we will have a Live drawing for the winner of a very cool gift basket.
