Our August Food Drive partnering with City Schools is happening right now! Stop by with your food donations for the Murfreesboro City Backpack program until 12pm today - you can see MERV the bus AND join Dr. Hinkle as he celebrates his birthday loading the van with your donations along with his partners Chuck Clark and Julie Corcoran!

Our First Friday Food Drive is just around the corner! Join us this Friday, August 7th from 9am to 12pm! 🍽️

For this month's food drive, our Mission Ministry Team is once again partnering with the Murfreesboro City Schools Backpack Program. This program “provides backpacks of food to students identified in their schools as ‘chronically hungry’ – children who, for whatever reason, consistently have little to no access to food at home on weekends.” (Lisa Trail, Murfreesboro City Schools). The MCS bus, MERV, will be here to take our donations straight to their destination! 🥫

Most needed Items 🛒:
• Peanut Butter Crackers
• Fruit Cups
• Individual Snacks
• Granola Bars
• Fruit Snack Packs
• Small Pop-Top Entrees

Don't forget, its also Dr. Hinkle's birthday this week! Let's give him the best birthday present ever by packing that van! 🚌

Our Second Friday Food Drive is happening this Friday from 9am to 12pm! 🍽️

This summer our donations will be taken to Nourish Food Bank and we are especially focusing on easy to open and prepare, child-friendly foods such as microwaveable mac and cheese, pop-top spaghettios, ravioli, cereal or granola bars, fruit cups, shelf stable milk such as Horizon, etc. Just drive through the portico and a volunteer will help you with your donations!🥫

All families with kids of any age: 0-18 years is invited to join us for some afternoon fun and fellowship. Food and events are always FREE. Bring as many friends (and their families) as you want, the more the merrier! Each month we will have a different theme
and activity – we have posted the summer events and locations in the above graphic. 🍨

‼️ Vacation Bible School is happening NEXT week ‼️

There is still time to sign up! This year VBS will be Tuesday, June 2nd-Thursday, June 4th from 5:00pm-7:00pm each night. Dinner is included, and we have lots of fun planned in this year’s theme of Galaxy: Launching Kids on a Mission of God’s Love! VBS is for children PreK-6th grade. If you haven’t signed up already, we need you! 🌌
