Here at Paul Mitchell Murfreesboro, we understand the importance of fostering a healthy and happy environment for our future professionals and staff to grow and thrive. In alignment with this commitment, Paul Mitchell Schools established the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation, named in honor of one of our students who lost his battle with depression. This foundation supports charitable organizations that champion mental health and the future of beauty professionals.

For the past 21 years, Paul Mitchell Schools have collectively raised over $26 million for various causes important to our team members and students. The Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation is our primary beneficiary, providing advanced education opportunities and support for cosmetology students, professionals, and cosmetology-related enterprises, as well as other charitable purposes.

Paul Mitchell Schools have leveraged this foundation through their FUNraising campaigns, channeling generosity into a wide array of causes. Through the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation, we have contributed nearly $2.5 million to cancer-related charities like Cancer Schmancer and City of Hope, and bolstered causes such as Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, founded by Taraji P. Henson to improve access to
mental health services for Black communities.

Paul Mitchell Schools—individually owned yet united by purpose—have become powerful champions for positive change in the mental health space through their FUNraising efforts and their inclusive and uplifting culture.

While we are not perfect, we are deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who struggle with mental health challenges, and we are working to get better and better each day.
