Musikgarten of Nashville Kelly Posey's Musikgarten of Nashville provides families with the unique opportunity for affordable exceptional early childhood music education.

The classes encourage infants, toddlers and children to develop a love of music and the ability to express it within a fun, family-friendly environment. Kelly, a Nashville native, has a passion for children and music. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Belmont University and has earned several Musikgarten certifications including curriculums for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, with ove

r 50 hours of training. She has taught preschool music at local churches for over 13 years and pre-k choir for over 15 years. Focused in Rutherford County, but spreading across Nashville and Middle TN, her Musikgarten classes are focused toward babies and children from newborn to 3 1/2 years. Parents and babies participate in music and movement exercises designed to encourage musical, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. The classes include singing, dancing, moving, chanting, listening and playing simple instruments. With the price of the classes, parents receive a special Musikgarten box with a CD, booklet of songs, and instruments designed to accompany each specific curriculum. Kelly also supplies her own additional props for each class. Parents and children will enjoy a stimulating time of making music, playing and bonding together with other children and families. Musikgarten is finally back and I am SO EXCITED!!! Classes will be at First Presbyterian Church, Nashville on Monday mornings, starting June 7th (that's my birthday! What a great way to start my day!)
If you are interested in a fun way to spend your summer Monday mornings, check out the details on the FPC website! Our 10:30 class is pretty much full, but 9:45 has been added and is open for registration! Come join the fun!!

Lovely Musikgarten friends! Due to our current world situation (yeah, you know what I'm talking about😉) and the closure of First Presbyterian Church, we will not be having classes on Monday, March 23rd. I will update you as the situation progresses. Missing all of you and your beautiful babies and wishing you health and blessings! "Tap the jingles, do oh do!" Playing with jingles and rhythm sticks promotes steady beat and language and gross motor skills. Musical play is much more than just playing with friends and mommies! We are learning about basic music concepts as we share, dance, sing, and work with simple instruments, .... although the friendship factor is a huge plus!😀❤ Musikgarten Mondays!
