We are incredibly proud of Jordan McCollough and the way he represented our community and John Pittard Elementary throughout his amazing journey on American Idol! While he may have finished as the runner-up, he is truly a winner in our eyes.

Jordan’s talent, humility, kindness, and perseverance inspired so many of our students, staff, and families. Watching one of our former students shine on a national stage has been such a special experience for all of us.

We know this is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to see all the incredible opportunities and success that lie ahead for him. Congratulations, Jordan! Your JPE family will always be cheering you on! 💙🦁💛

John Pittard Elementary is still on cloud nine after welcoming Jordan McCollough back to JPE! 💙💛

Our students and staff were truly excited about the visit and loved celebrating one of our very own. Students made posters, asked for autographs, gave high fives, and shared how Jordan has inspired them to follow their dreams.

Our chorus even performed for him while wearing glasses just like Jordan! 🎶😎

We were also thrilled to welcome back some of the people who helped shape his journey, including his former teachers, principal, and Steel de Boro instructor, all of whom shared how proud they are of his accomplishments.

It was such a special day filled with excitement, pride, and inspiration for our entire school community. We are cheering Jordan on every step of the way! 🦁

Last week was a busy and exciting week at John Pittard Elementary, but we also took time to recognize our wonderful Nurse Heather on National Nurses Day! 💙💛

We are so thankful for the care, compassion, and support she provides to our students and staff each and every day. From helping little ones feel better to supporting the health and wellness of our school community, Nurse Heather is truly appreciated and loved by all.

Career Week 2026 was a blast at John Pittard Elementary! 💙💛

From Zoom sessions with professionals representing a variety of career fields to our exciting Career Fair, students had so many opportunities to learn about future possibilities and explore their interests.

The week was filled with fun dress-up days, Kahoot challenges featuring staff trivia, engaging activities, and lots of learning and laughter along the way. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a memorable experience for our students! 🦁
