Thank you to everyone who came out to our Celebration for our International Graduates and Exchange Students last week. International education is a key part of MTSU, and these students are integral to every aspect of campus life. We’re so proud of all these students, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

This week, MTSU International has been recruiting in Ghana. Brian and Dr. Ping have attended school visits, college fairs, and even radio interviews to get the word out about MTSU and international education. These pictures are from some of their school visits in Kumasi, Ghana.

Next week, we'll be at college fairs in Zimbabwe and Madagascar. Stop by if you are there. We'd love to meet you and tell you more about MTSU!

Come out and support our Lady Raiders, and we hope this event provides a great opportunity for both current and new international students to engage with our campus community and experience all that MTSU has to offer!

It was great to see everyone at our International Student Welcome Event earlier this week! We hope everyone had a great time and is looking forward to an incredible time here at MTSU.

We want to thank everyone who made this event happen, as well as the many campus and community representatives and student organizations that support our international students.

Happy Holidays from all of us at the Office of International Affairs here at MTSU! We hope each and every one of you has a wonderful holiday and new year! Just a reminder that the university will be closed for the holidays and will reopen on January 2, 2025.

International Education Week is always an exciting and busy week for all of us at the Office of International Affairs! Seeing all the support for international education last week was truly remarkable. Thank you for your continued support for international education here at MTSU!

A lot of exciting things happened this week ahead of International Education Week.

First, the USAID Global Scholars hosted an Egyptian dinner for friends they met this semester. President McPhee even stopped by for the dinner.

Second, new international student - Essam Mostafa - led the Men's Basketball team in scoring and assists for the first time this season as the Blue Raiders defeated Evansville at home.

We're proud of all of our students and excited for International Education Week next week.

The Study Abroad Fair is this Wednesday in the Student Union Atrium! Come learn more about MTSU's signature faculty-led programs, provider programs, exchange programs, and more! As well as learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities for study abroad! There will also be a chance to win a flight scholarship worth up to $2,000. We hope to see everyone there from 10:00 - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20th.

The next event for International Education Week is our International Open House. Stop by Jones Hall from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19 for music, games, snacks, and more! We hope to see everyone there!

A new event for this year's international education week, the first-ever Education Abroad Recognition Event, is on Monday, November 18, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM in the Tom Jackson Building. Join us as we recognize students and faculty who went on Study Abroad sessions from Fall 23 - Summer 24 and hear from some of them as they share their experiences.

The first event for International Education Week. Resonance: A live collaboration between Music and Painting & Calligraphy by the MTSU Chinese Music Ensemble and artists from the Chinese American Art Faculty Association. Friday, Nov. 15th, 4 pm @ CCMC MTSU.
