MTSU True Blue Core

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me why I love the work we do! 💙

The True Blue Core had the opportunity to participate in the Provost’s Picnic, and to say our table—and especially our ice cream cooler 🍦—was a hit would be an understatement!

As Director of the True Blue Core, one of my favorite parts of this work is creating opportunities to connect with our students beyond the classroom. Yesterday was about more than handing out ice cream. It was about welcoming students, building relationships, sharing what the Core has to offer, and letting them know that we are here to support them throughout their MTSU journey.

There was so much energy and excitement on campus, and I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off another academic year.

Here’s to another year of helping our students learn, connect, belong, and thrive! 💙

💙 A True Blue First! 💙
Today marked a special milestone for the True Blue Core as we recognized our TBC faculty for the first time during MTSU’s Freshman Convocation! 🎓

These faculty members play an important role in shaping our students’ first academic experiences at MTSU, helping them build connections, discover new perspectives, and develop skills that will carry them throughout their college journey and beyond.
We are proud to celebrate the faculty who bring the True Blue Core to life every day. What a great way to welcome our newest Blue Raiders and begin another exciting academic year!
