🎉 WE’RE READY TO WELCOME YOU BACK, STM! 🎉
The lights are on, the buildings are cool, the meals are ready, and—most importantly—our incredible staff is ready to welcome our students back!

After an unexpected start to the school year, we are excited to announce that Grades K–12 will return to school on Tuesday, August 25 and Pre-K on Thursday, August 27!

We are incredibly grateful to our staff, families, students, Town of Munster, utility crews, first responders, and entire community for the patience, support, and teamwork that helped us reach this moment.

We’ve missed our students, and we cannot wait to get this year started!

Congratulations to the Munster High School football team and coaches on an incredible victory over Lake Central last night! What a performance!
Your hard work, determination, and teamwork were on full display. We’re proud of the players and coaches for representing Munster with such heart and pride. Thank you to our community for showing such overwhelming support for the team.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing School Town of Munster volunteers who stepped up today to serve meals to members of the Munster community, including our STM students and families!

It was incredible to see so many familiar faces come together to help, support, and care for one another. Moments like these remind us what makes Munster such a special community.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time and energy to serve our community when it was needed most.

Calling all future Mustangs in Grades K–5! Join us for the Mustang Cheer Clinic and learn exciting cheers, chants, and fun routines while building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit!

Clinic Dates:

Game Day Performance: September 4

THANK YOU TO OUR INCREDIBLE STM TEAMS! While many of us have been focused on the impact of the storm, our Maintenance, Custodial, and Technology teams have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to help get our schools ready to welcome students and staff back.

From cleaning up storm damage and preparing our buildings, to restoring systems, checking equipment, and making sure our technology is ready to go, these teams have put in countless hours to move us closer to reopening our doors.

Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to STM have made an incredible difference during a challenging week.

To our Maintenance, Custodial, and Technology teams — THANK YOU! We see your hard work, we appreciate you, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you are doing for our students, staff, and schools.

STM schools and campuses remain CLOSED until further notice as our community continues to recover from the August 11 storm.

At this time, our buildings do not have stable power sources and are operating on generators. Our teams continue working diligently to ensure our schools are safe and ready for students and staff.

We have shared our tentative Back-to-School plan with families and staff. Specific return dates have not yet been determined and will be communicated as soon as conditions allow.

Thank you for your continued patience and support. We can’t wait to safely welcome everyone back! ❤️
