School Town of Munster administrators and School Board members attended the 77th ISBA Annual Fall Conference, October 5–6 in Indianapolis. This year’s theme, “Leading at the Speed of Change,” provided opportunities to learn, collaborate and explore ideas that support strong leadership and continued growth in our schools.
Representing STM were:
• Dr. Ingrid Schwarz Wolf, School Board President
• Mr. John Castro, School Board Member
• Kristen Smith, School Board Secretary
• Dr. Matthew Hicks, Superintendent
• Ms. Amy Yoos, Director of Elementary Education
• Dr. Ryan Erdelac, Director of Secondary Education
• Ms. Brianne Oliver, Director of Exceptional Achievers

We appreciate our leaders’ commitment to continued learning and bringing new ideas and perspectives back to the School Town of Munster.

🚒🔥 Stop, Drop, and Learn! 🔥🚒
Our K–2 students had an exciting Fire Safety Day at Elliott! They were visited by the amazing Munster Fire Department, who taught our young Eagles important lessons about staying safe and what to do in case of a fire. 👩‍🚒🧯
A big thank you to our local firefighters for spending time with our students and helping them become fire safety superstars! ❤️🖤

Kindness Walk is THIS WEDNESDAY! Wear your best Elliott spirit wear to show our school spirit! It is going to be a beautiful day! Our Elliott Eagles have really turned up the efforts on spreading kindness and raising money! We are SO close to our stretch goal and only around $2,000 away from what we raised last year! (Which was a record year!) So many people have been sharing their links today, which is paying off! Keep it up Eagles!
