As a reminder, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved long weekend. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday!

Calling all Frank H. Hammond Elementary girls in grades 3–5!

Girls on the Run is coming to FHH this fall! Girls on the Run is a fun, empowering program designed to help girls build confidence, make new friends, stay active, and discover the power of using their voices. The season wraps up with an exciting 5K celebration!

FHH Girls on the Run
- Grades 3–5
- Mondays & Wednesdays
- 3:30–5:00 p.m. at the FHH Track
- Season begins September 16
- Financial assistance available; program fees range from $20–$180

Mrs. Hunt’s class worked on a STEM building challenge based on the 3 Little Pigs that also helps to build collaboration in teams. Students needed to make individual plans for a house made of 10 index cards, a minimum amount of tape, 2 straws and just their scissors. They shared with their team and then made a full team plan that included a model with labels.
They have been working on building them to test to see if they withstand wind (from a hairdryer).

Support the Munster High School Speech & Debate Team by purchasing tickets for their 58th Annual Chicken BBQ Dinner Fundraiser!

Don’t wait — ticket sales end Sunday, September 13! Tickets must be purchased in advance at MunsterChicken.com or at the MHS Main Office.
