Fall is a great time to plant your windbreak or Christmas trees. Blue berries and raspberries too. Actually most plants do better planted in the fall. Cooler days more rain and dew every night make for an easier life for the plants. The trees will continue to grow roots until the temps are regularly below 40-45 degrees and they will be in place ready to go for spring. We have some great inexpensive choices.
