While this isn't news about something happening in Homestead Borough, this is news that will impact many of us over the next few months.

Keep Pittsburgh Water and anyone that cannot detour around the work in your thoughts. As we know, and as you've been recently impacted directly in Homestead, sewer and water projects are complex, lengthy, and can be extremely disruptive to those of us that rely on affected roads or live near the construction.

We are hiring for all shifts and all classrooms.

Ideal candidates have a genuine love for young children, are willing to support social-emotional growth, and can help promote independence and positive development in a safe and engaging environment.

Experience in childcare is a plus, however we proudly provide hands-on training and ongoing support to help you grow into the best version of yourself in the field.

Now Preparing for Summer 2026 ☀️

MOOKS Childcare Center will soon begin accepting resumes for Summer Camp Counselors for our 2026 Summer Program.

Our summer program is structured, active, and experience-based — including themed weeks, outdoor play, group activities, and enrichment experiences. We are looking for responsible, energetic individuals who can lead, engage, and create a safe and memorable summer for our students.

Position: Summer Camp Counselor
Program Runs: June–August 2026
Orientation Begins: May 2026

We are seeking individuals who:
• Are at least 18 years old
• Love working with children
• Can lead activities with confidence and structure
• Are dependable and punctual
• Work well within a team environment
• Bring positive energy to the Village

Childcare, camp, or youth program experience is preferred.

This is a great opportunity for college students (Education, Human Services, Early Childhood, etc.) or individuals seeking hands-on experience in a high-standard childcare environment.
