Steel Valley Middle School

The Steel Valley School District would like to share an important reminder for our students and families who walk to and from our schools through Homestead, Munhall, and West Homestead.

Students and their families are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the presence of crossing guards in order to safely cross streets. Unfortunately, even clearly labeled crosswalks, stop signs, and traffic lights do not always prevent drivers from aggressive behavior that could endanger students crossing the street.

Crossing guards help control traffic and ensure the safety of our students as they walk to and from school. Please use their presence and cross with them at designated intersections. The Steel Valley School District appreciates the commitment of our boroughs to helping our students and families stay safe.

As we welcome students, parents, and the community to Campbell Stadium for another exciting football game this evening, we'd like to remind everyone of our guidelines for attending home football games.

Please note all fans are subject to a security screening upon entry and no one will be permitted to re-enter the stadium.

No bags or purses will be permitted inside the stadium.

All middle school and elementary students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Steel Valley students are expected to follow district policies at all times.

We look forward to seeing everyone this evening!
