Due to increased Covid cases, the HCHS Class of 1976 has decided to postpone our class reunion for this year.

Vicki Kidd McDaniel, age 63 of Horse Cave, Ky passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Vicki was a member of the Rowletts Baptist Church. Vicki was a very talented singer who performed many years at the Lincoln Jamboree in Hodgenville. Vicki dearly loved her fur babies and all her Scottie friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerry McDaniel; her parents, Cecil and Frances Kidd; one brother, Charles Allen Kidd.

She is survived by her son, Curtis McDaniel and his wife, Tara; her grandson, Briar; her sister, Carol Baldwin and her husband Mike; 10 nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Lois McDaniel; her special friends, Ellen Stinson and “Aunt” Betty McFarland; her wonderful nephew, Todd Kidd and his wife Ronda who have been there for Vicki every moment since Kerry’s passing.

Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. CST on Monday, July 5, 2021 with burial to follow in the McDaniel Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. CST on Monday until time of service.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital.
