Kindergarten had a special visitor today… PETE THE CAT! Pete is ALWAYS a big deal in Kindergarten! We were definitely some happy little cool cats today! 💙

We have about 20 yearbooks from 2025–2026 still available for $40 each. Once these are gone, there will be no more available!

Please send cash or a check payable to Munford Elementary School. All money will go directly to the office for Ms. Chelsee to receipt.

Yearbooks will be sold first come, first served!

🐾Parent University & Annual Title I Meeting

Join us Thursday, August 27 at 5:30 PM in the Munford Elementary cafeteria for our Annual Title I Meeting. Parent University we’ll begin at six. 

We’ll share helpful information about volunteering, ways to support your child at home, attendance and Skyward, the 3rd Grade Retention Law, tutoring, and more! We hope to see you there! 🐾

Whoa… it’s Wednesday already! 🤠 This week is flying by! Your teachers may be tired, but we sure do love spending our days with your kiddos! ❤️

Want an easy way to support our school? Be on the lookout for a PTO membership form coming home. Membership is just $5, and you can be as involved as your schedule allows. Your membership alone makes a difference! Money raised through PTO goes right back into our school to help purchase things our teachers and students need.

And here’s a sweet little bonus! 🍧 If a class reaches 100% PTO membership, meaning every family in that class joins, the class earns a SNOW CONE PARTY!

Five dollars + supporting our school + snow cones = sounds like a pretty good deal to us! 😋

UPDATE #2: Ever wonder what our First and Second Grade teachers would look like if they were actually first and second graders? Well…now you know! 😂

UPDATE: Well, look who we found on the playground! Pre-K has officially joined the class! More “students” are still out there somewhere… 😂

What if your teachers were actually the age of the students they teach? 😂 We couldn’t resist finding out!

Our teachers are ready to head back to school, backpacks and all! We’re so excited to kick off another great year at MES and can’t wait to see all of our Cougar Cubs tomorrow! 🐾

And don’t worry… we haven’t forgotten the rest of our grade levels. More “students” are coming soon! 😂

Thank you to everyone who came to Back to School Night! It was a full house, and it was great to see everyone! Apparently, this little guy enjoyed himself so much that he decided to stay behind. 🤠 If your little one is missing their favorite deputy, don’t worry! You’ve got a friend in the MES office! He’s saddled up and waiting to be reunited with his buddy.
