I have some bittersweet news to share.

As of June 28, 2026, I will no longer be hosting classes at RMG Guns and Am******on.

This is because Smalley (who you may recognize from some of my classes) and I are opening our own shop and training facility!!

This has been in the works for some time and I can't believe it's finally happening!

I will be co-owner and Lead Instructor, working everyday to bring quality and supportive self-defense training to the community.

We are expecting to open late summer 2026.

I am so grateful for my time spent at RMG Guns & Am******on and for all of the friends and connections I've made there over the past 4 years.

If you would like to stay up to date on opening dates and future classes please follow The Outpost on Facebook! You can also go to TheOutpostAntioch.com and sign up for email updates!

Thank you everyone for all of the support you have shown us! I can't wait for you to see what we have coming up! ❤️❤️

Have you been wanting to take a Beginner Handgun Class with me but have been putting it off?
This is your sign to sign up for a Summer Beginner Handgun Class!

Analyze a student's target with me:
This student came to me wanting a fi***rm for self protection when she goes camping. She took a Beginner Handgun class and Range with Instructor with me before this range trip.
She came in with a brand new fi***rm and our focus was getting to know this new fi***rm.

(Image 2) The first 10 shots were warm up shots (5 rounds, 2 magazines, 15 feet). After the first few shots she focused on adjusting her sight alinement.

(Image 3) I decided to run her through a small drill. 2 magazines 6 rounds each at 15 feet. Shoot 2 rounds at a slow but comfortable pace then set the fi***rm down. Repeat until the first magazine is empty. During the last 2 rounds she lined up her sights in a way that felt 'too low' and that's when she hit the diamond.

We stopped to talk about what changes she made during the drill and how those changes impacted her shots.

(Image 4) She repeated the drill with the second magazine. The first 3 shots were exactly where she wanted them but she started to drop with her final rounds.

(Image 5) As we came to the end of our range time, we only had 4 rounds left. I told her she could run a drill again or shoot however she wanted. She confidently shot her last 4 rounds at the low right diamond.

Overall analysis: she made great progress with less than 50 rounds. We still have some work to do but she is a new shooter with a brand new fi***rm. With some more practice she will be a fantastic shot!
