Today feels like a quiet threshold. I’ve just shared a new StoryWorld newsletter — one that marks a moment I’ve been holding for a long time. A story that grew out of lived work, deep listening, and the ethics of care is finding its way into the world. Chandler’s Stay is becoming an eBook. S...

Building Rapport – The ISA Way
Rapport isn’t a soft skill.
It’s the foundation everything else stands on.

Building Rapport – The ISA Way is a short, immersive course designed for professionals who work with people — especially when trust, regulation, and dignity matter most.

This course explores rapport as a relational practice, not a checklist. You’ll learn how connection forms across differences, how regulation shapes engagement, and how to recognize competence even when it doesn’t look the way systems expect.

Grounded in ISA Therapy’s lifespan‑applicable framework, this course supports professionals working in early intervention, education, clinical, and caregiver‑mediated settings.

Inside the course, you’ll:

explore the foundations of authentic connection

practice rapport‑building across communication styles and modalities

reflect on power, presence, and responsibility in human relationships

apply concepts through real‑world scenarios and creative assessment

This course is designed to meet professional development and CEU‑aligned hour expectations. CEU eligibility is determined by the learner’s employer or licensing board.

If you believe rapport is more than politeness —
If you believe people deserve to be seen as whole —
If you believe connection is where real change begins —

This course was built for you.

Course Description: Building Rapport – The ISA Way Rapport isn’t a trick—it’s the heartbeat of every meaningful interaction. In this one‑week mini course, you’ll discover how to create authentic connections that foster safety, trust, and readiness for growth. Through the ISA Therapy lens...

I’ve been working on something that feels deeply aligned with why ISA Therapy exists in the first place.

Supporting neurodivergent individuals — and the people who care for them — asks more of us than surface‑level training or one‑size‑fits‑all solutions. It invites us to slow down, listen differently, and build understanding that honors lived experience, regulation, communication, and relational safety.

ISA Therapy, LLC is now offering custom neurodiversity learning paths for care‑centered organizations, built through a consult‑first process and designed to meet teams exactly where they are. Some organizations benefit from focused, one‑week mini courses that address specific pain points. Others are ready for a cohesive learning journey that weaves those same themes together over time. Both paths are grounded in the same intentional framework — learning that is practical, reflective, and deeply human.

I’ve shared more about this new offering in a recent blog post. If your work involves caring for neurodivergent children, adults, or families, and you’re curious about what it looks like to move beyond checklists and into truly meaningful care, I’d love for you to take a look.

Welcome to ISA Therapy, LLC.

I’m Kristen Peters—founder and creator of ISA Therapy (Integrated Spectrum Analysis). ISA Therapy is a connection‑first framework designed to support neurodivergent individuals, caregivers, and professionals through dignity‑centered, multi‑modal care.

This work was born from lived experience and years of observing what actually helps people thrive. ISA Therapy integrates music, art, speech, occupational, recreational, and educational approaches into one cohesive system—guided by the belief that behavior is communication and connection is the foundation for growth.

At ISA Therapy, we focus on:

Connection over correction

Safety for everyone involved

Ethical, sustainable care that honors humanity

Practical tools that work in real‑world settings

Through training, curriculum, and creative resources, ISA Therapy exists to support individuals and the people who care for them—without asking anyone to disappear, endure harm, or sacrifice their wholeness.

This page is a space to share ideas, resources, and conversations about care that is deeply human.

Thank you for being here.
