Come support our junior and senior classes at their upcoming car wash fundraiser on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. in the HHCS/GBC parking lot! The car wash is free, but donations are gladly accepted. All proceeds will help fund the classes’ senior trips. Bring your car, invite a friend, and let our students give your vehicle a good wash while supporting a great cause!

We are celebrating 60 years of God’s grace and sustaining power. The yearbook staff is looking for photos through the decades. Please share any you have, especially from events like Country Fair, band, choir, athletics, Camp Crosley, or other special events. We’re looking for faces! As many of you know, the recent flooding caused significant damage to several of our buildings, including the commercial kitchen at Heritage Hall Christian School.

God has provided an unexpected opportunity for us to purchase the commercial kitchen contents of a restaurant in Zionsville to help replace some of what was lost. Now we need some help and muscle to get it moved!

𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 (𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲) 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. If there are enough for a bus, we will take one, though you are also welcome to drive separately or meet us there. Just message us for information.

We need several types of help:

🔧 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 — Some of the commercial kitchen equipment will need to be taken apart or disassembled before we can transport it. If you can help with this, please bring tools that may be useful.

💪 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 — We have a number of large and heavy pieces of equipment that will require plenty of hands.

🛻 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 — If you have equipment that could help us disassemble or move things, please bring it along.

We have a very short window to get everything cleared out before we incur additional fees, so even if you can only help for part of the day, we would greatly appreciate it!

We are incredibly grateful for the many people who have already given, worked, prayed, and helped us recover from the flood. Thank you for continuing to come alongside Heritage Hall and Grace Baptist Church as we rebuild!

We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible support of our HHCS families, alumni, Grace Baptist Church family, and community who came out today to help with the cleanup of our South Campus—even in the rain! 🌧️ We are so grateful for each of you who generously gave your time, energy, and support.

Isaiah 43:2 KJV: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” This verse is a promise from God! He is always with us, always in control, and always good. Even in trials and struggles of life His hand can be seen and He receives the glory.

We are so blessed by our wonderful and gracious HHCS families and community! 💙 Thank you to everyone who has given their time, energy, and generous donations to support our school. Tomorrow (August 15) we begin cleanup, and we would greatly appreciate for you to come lend a hand, we will begin at 10:00am.

Supplies needed for tomorrow are: 🧽 🧤
-Cleaning supplies of all kinds
-Squeegees
-Rubber gloves
-Giant trash bags/contractor trash bags
-Waders
-Any spare sump pumps
-Large floor fans
-N-95 Masks / Respirator Masks
-Large commercial dehumidifiers
-Bleach
-Salamander heaters
-Generators

What a great week we had of celebrating our amazing teachers and staff!!! 🍎
We enjoyed a fiesta-filled week with a catered meal on Wednesday from Puerto Vallarta, a snack cart on Thursday, and we ended the week with our “Dip Dip It’s Friday” smorgasbord!

Along with our fiesta week, many of our local businesses donated gifts, gift cards, coupons, and more to show appreciation for our fantastic teachers!!! We are so grateful for their support and generosity!!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our staff. It truly was a fiesta week! 🎉🌮🪅
