What a great week we had of celebrating our amazing teachers and staff!!! 🍎
We enjoyed a fiesta-filled week with a catered meal on Wednesday from Puerto Vallarta, a snack cart on Thursday, and we ended the week with our “Dip Dip It’s Friday” smorgasbord!

Along with our fiesta week, many of our local businesses donated gifts, gift cards, coupons, and more to show appreciation for our fantastic teachers!!! We are so grateful for their support and generosity!!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our staff. It truly was a fiesta week! 🎉🌮🪅

Students from Heritage Hall Christian School in Muncie conducted a shoe drive in conjunction with their annual Family Fun Run. The run is a fundraiser for their gym renovation and they combined that with a charitable effort to help us as well! Thank you Heritage Hall! We’ll find feet for your shoes!

We are excited to celebrate one of our students, Cassie Ulrey, for her outstanding achievements in science this year!

Cassie represented Heritage Hall at the Regional Science Fair at Purdue University Fort Wayne on March 21, where she earned 1st place in her category. She was also recognized with the ANAB Excellence in Measurement & Data Quality Award which is a testament to her precision, hard work, and attention to detail! In addition, she received a special award from the Fort Wayne Zoo, including tickets and a calendar.

She continued her success on March 28 at the Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair (the state competition) held at Indiana University Indianapolis. There, Cassie earned 3rd place in the 8th grade division. She also received the following honors:

* The Ricoh Sustainable Development Award
* Best Use of the International System of Units
* Award for Excellence in Environmental Science
* Excellence in Chemistry award

Cassie, we are proud of you! We know this project took much effort, perseverance, and dedication. You did an excellent job. Congratulations!

If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to get involved by donating, volunteering, or helping us collect shoes for those in need.
