It would be hard to Chirp Through 100 Years of Homecoming without student media!

Student media at Ball State can be traced back to The Orient yearbook, which first published in 1919, and The Easterner, a student newspaper founded in 1922.

The final edition of The Orient was published in 1996, but The Easterner continues to record Ball State’s Homecoming history, known today as The Ball State Daily News, alongside several other award-winning organizations!
