Playful Pathways is a play-based preschool offering classes for children ages 2 years-5 years.
At Playful Pathways, our goal is to provide a safe, stimulating, and positive environment that enhances and fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, creative, and social development of individual children through play-based learning and discovery. We believe that a child's experience with early learning through play has a multitude of benefits, including the development of a positive self-image
, confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for future school success. We will provide an environment that allows children to learn by doing and will encourage them to construct their own knowledge as they choose from a variety of engaging discovery centers. Students will also benefit from whole group time, where we will sing and dance, share with each other, and practice listening and taking turns. Small groups will offer the opportunity for students to work closely with their teachers as they are introduced to new concepts and materials. Within all the components of our program, you will find alignment to the Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards for Young Children. Using these standards as the backbone of our instruction will help to ensure students' preparedness as they enter elementary school.
