Today, we made elementary and high school teachers build windmills!

That might seem strange if you didn’t know Ball State offers hands-on workshops for teachers year-round. As part of the Clean Energy In My Community project, teachers learned strategies to demonstrate the practical application of STEM concepts.

We believe education is the foundation for a better future - but learning without context isn’t education. Our teaching majors understand that a great education is one that demonstrates how knowledge can be used to solve real-world problems.

Owls on stage this summer! In the Muncie Civic Theatre’s main stage production of Disney’s Frozen, you will see some familiar faces, including those of Cece H. and Sagan M.

This afternoon, the Hoot Scoot Committee held a meeting to kick-start the planning for the 5th Annual Hoot Scoot, happening on September 19th. Make sure to save the date.

Today, our office mailbox contained a welcome surprise, a large pile of thank you notes! The staff thoroughly enjoyed the Teacher and Staff Appreciation lunches last week!

We had a great week celebrating our staff and teachers! We would like to extend our gratitude to Pizza Hut for providing pizzas on Monday, Jimmy John’s for sponsoring lunch on Tuesday, and Red Lobster for the shrimp platter and biscuits on Wednesday. We also appreciate the support of our parent donors.
