Today is Denim Day! Observed yearly on the last Wednesday in April, denim day is a time to recognize and raise awareness for survivors. Clothes do not equal consent, and today we wear denim in solidarity.

Wear Denim this Wednesday to show support for survivors and reiterate that clothes do not equal consent.

This Friday at 11 am, we will hand out free ice cream at the scramble light! Come learn about bystander intervention with us!

For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, our Peer Wellness Ambassadors put together a myth vs. fact series to debunk some common misconceptions about assault and consent.

Tarana Burke is known for starting the "me too" movement, which made many people realize how prevalent sexual violence is. This week, we highlight her work and encourage you to read more about her story.

Over the next few months, we want to highlight some of the key figures who have been instrumental in the fight to end sexual violence. Today, we focus on Recy Taylor, who was brave enough to report her experience to the police.

The stories of these key figures could elicit some emotional responses due to the nature of this topic. We encourage you to learn more about Recy's story, but remember to take care of yourself. We are here for you!

Popular media can give us some really great examples of healthy, respectful relationships! But sometimes, we see characters with stalking tendencies that go unmentioned. We still love these movies, but it's important to separate fiction from reality and acknowledge that these behaviors are unacceptable.
