Francis Marion, known as the “Swamp Fox,” was a Revolutionary War hero and the namesake of Marion, Iowa. Students in grades K–12 may submit an essay about Francis Marion.

We are now offering Saturday Sessions writing camps for young writers in two locations: Muncie and Fishers.

The Muncie Sessions, located on Ball State campus, are for students in grades 3-12 and are free (though pre-registration is required). These sessions are funded by a grant from the Ball State Center for Innovation and Collaboration

The Fishers Sessions, located at the Ball State Fishers Center, are for students in grades 4-12. The cost is $20/session, or $50 for all three.

Dec. 7: Holiday Greeting Cards

Registration is now open for Summer Creative Writing Camp! This summer we are once again able to offer two camps for students in grades 4-12, one in Muncie and one in Fishers.

This year’s camp will focus on creative writing in many genres, including narrative and poetry.
