From custom sushi & fresh salad bars to brick-oven pizzas, homestyle favorites, & fresh donuts, you'll find what you're craving at University Dining's many locations. Including:
4 cafés, 8 markets & convenience stores, 7 popular national franchises, an all-you-care-to-carryout buffet, a custom sushi & ramen spot, a food truck, rotisserie-styled bbq, a 'Top 8' Allergen-Free zone, an ice cream shoppe, & even our very own bakery! We believe in being good neighbors & carry a variety of locally-sourced food & work with a bevy of local businesses. Sustainable practices are part of our core makeup, & we strive to adhere to social, economic, & environmental sustainability. Inclusion is one of our mantras, & providing a wide range of cuisine to suit a myriad of diets & nutritional needs is something in which we pride ourselves. Our romaine & spring mix lettuces are grown hydroponically in a nearby South Bend greenhouse. This innovative setup allows us to offer fresh, local greens all year long while protecting natural resources:
Saves Water: Uses up to 90% less water than traditional field farming.
Fewer Food Miles: Grown locally, drastically reducing transit emissions.
Smart Land Use: Vertical and greenhouse space allows for higher yields without over-farming land.
