Woody/Shales Hall

Woody/Shales Hall Woody/Shales or Shwoody is a first-year student residence hall and home to the Discover Ball State and Elementary Education Living-Learning Communities.

Woody/Shales is commonly called Shwoody for short. Shwoody is also the only residence hall on Ball State's campus to have a mascot - the Shwoody Monster! Shwoody is known for it participation in hall events, a kick ball tournament, thanksgiving dinner, and Shwoody Week!! This year, Shwoody is home to Discover Ball State and Elementary/Early Childhood Living-Learning Communities!

Hey everyone! Have you heard about the TinCaps event? No? Well, you should! The Discover community is hosting a tour of Parkview Field and a game for FREE! If you can go on April 20th, go sign up at the front desk! This is open for the ENTIRE building as of today! Only the first 40 people get to go, so hurry up!!!!
