Woody/Shales or Shwoody is a first-year student residence hall and home to the Discover Ball State and Elementary Education Living-Learning Communities.
Woody/Shales is commonly called Shwoody for short. Shwoody is also the only residence hall on Ball State's campus to have a mascot - the Shwoody Monster! Shwoody is known for it participation in hall events, a kick ball tournament, thanksgiving dinner, and Shwoody Week!! This year, Shwoody is home to Discover Ball State and Elementary/Early Childhood Living-Learning Communities!

Hey everyone! Have you heard about the TinCaps event? No? Well, you should! The Discover community is hosting a tour of Parkview Field and a game for FREE!
