Our Preservation Studio class had the chance to visit and tour Wabash, Indiana! what a beautiful town! we were able to visit the Eagles Theatre, the Honeywell Center, and tour Downtown! We recommend a visit!

This week Our Urban History class/ ARCH 646 visited the Athenaeum in Downtown Indianapolis! What a cool building with an interesting German American history.

Did you know that the Germans Immigrants at the time valued highly physical and mental strength as a means to be a good citizen. The Athenaeum was built to support those two goals. It served as a gymnasium education hall, and club house for these German settlers.

Did you know that Downtown Muncie Hosts First Thursday every month? The Center for Historic Preservation was open during Aprils' First Thursday! It was great meeting members of the community, viewing artwork, and sharing what the center does!
