Our amazing alumna Kaitlyn DelleDonne is working with our Commercial Music Design students of the Ball State University School of Music. She shared her experience of being part of the music team of the blockbuster PS5 game Spiderman 2. Thanks again for coming.

Our Chuck Ainlay drum workshop was a huge success and lots of fun. Hands-on drum recording techniques, exploring mic placements and to top it all, an immersive audio workshop in our state of the art Atmos room.

Finally time for a recap on our recording workshop with the one and only Steve M. Savanyu. Steve spent all day with our MMP students sharing mic knowledge, industry insights, and his love for education and good sound. He brought a great collection mics including Hilbe Ribbon Mics which were not on my radar but sound fantastic.
The day culminated in a recording session with our commercial music ensemble laying down some Soul and RnB.

How great it is to have access to a graduate string quartet. Taking advantage of being in the school of music and collaborating with the performance area brings so much to a recording program. Support your local string quartet!
