This week, Dr. Davison took ICS students to University Green for a golf practice session focused on more than just improving our swing.
This experience highlights the importance of networking and relationship-building in professional environments. While golf may seem unrelated to office work, many business connections and opportunities are built through informal interactions outside the workplace.
One piece of advice that stood out was βA round of golf with a decision maker can be more impactful than a formal sales pitch.β
This was a great reminder that professional success often does not depend only on technical skills, but also on communication, connection, and the informal relationships we build throughout our careers.
