Storm safety is always a huge question in the horse world on what and what not to do. Truly there is no right or wrong answer.

Here is what we have done with the severe storms that are coming in:
-Old halters made to break away with twine
-Halters on with tags
-Clips on halters facing the horse so the don’t get caught on anything
-Tags braided into main and/or tails
-Horses will be staying outside with access to stable shelter
-Extra hay in shelter
-Water troughs full

All my tags have the horses names, owner name, and 2-3 phone numbers on them. We have also used electrical tape instead of rubber bands to hold the braids in as it is stronger. They have extra hay in their shelter to help keep them occupied as well.

I am so proud of Kinley for doing her best at her very first show today. She place 2nd in 2 of the 3 classes she did! It was an amazing day and I can’t wait to see where she goes for the future.

It was a beautiful week for some lessons!

2022 16hh OTTB Mare

2026 RRP eligible as long as she stays under 15 rides by Jan 1st and very amateur friendly!

Juno is definitely a looker when under saddle and had beautiful movement! She can truly go in any direction and into any discipline. She has a fun but calming personality and is a horse that you don’t need to ride everyday. She stands for grooming, tacking, farrier, vet, etc. we have been told she is good for clipping and bathing but we have not tried it but I would believe she is! She won over $19,000 on the track and retired with clean legs in March.
She is on the thinner side right now but they have been working hard to get weight on her as her current owner bought her in a very poor condition. Due to that she had not been rode in 2-3 months until today and she was truly amazing (the videos will show proof).

Today Paisleigh won her first 2 buckles (at 7 years old) at MCEC today. I’m so proud of her for how far she has came since starting with me in April. She started the year off doing the lead line walk trot classes and lead line contesting classes and by the last 3 shows she was troting and cantering the patterns by herself. Words cannot express how proud I truly am of her. I can’t wait for her future and her to be able to run as fast as the “big kids”. I love making dreams come true.
