Today, our junior and senior mentors enjoyed lunch in the gym with their seventh-grade mentees! They caught up, talked about how the year is going, and wrapped up their time together with games, laughter, and plenty of fun. We’re so proud of our students for building meaningful connections and making our school community such a welcoming and supportive place!

Attention Cowan Families! We received this information from a community member and wanted to share:

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief is setting up a command center to assist families whose homes were damaged by flooding.

This assistance is available to families who:
- Own their home
- Do not have flood insurance
- Need flood-related home repairs

Volunteer teams from 5–6 states will be arriving over the next few weeks. An assessor will visit each home to evaluate the damage, and repairs will then be scheduled. All work is completed by volunteers at no cost to families.

If you or someone you know may qualify, please visit the command center to provide your information and begin the process.

Cowan families affected by the recent flooding are invited to stop by the Cowan Lions Club tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. to pick up bottled water and non-perishable goods. Items will be available to families in need while supplies last. Please help us spread the word!

A huge thank you to all of our teachers, students, and families who came out for our 2nd Annual Community Night! The weather didn’t cooperate, and we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor games, but the food was delicious and it was wonderful to see everyone come together and enjoy each other’s company.

I absolutely love showing off how great our building looks and bragging about our teachers and all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms every single day. I’m incredibly proud of our school community and appreciate everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing to grow Community Night each year!
