Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. 🍀
Before you reach for the green beer —
I want to say something
that might stay with you
longer than the celebration does.
We talk a lot about luck today.
Wearing green so luck finds us.
Searching for four leaf clovers.
Waiting for something fortunate
to fall into our path.
And I love the spirit of that.
The hope in it.
The joy in it.
But here is what I know to be true.
The luckiest people I have ever met —
are not lucky.
They are prepared.
They did the work when no one was watching.
They built the standard when it would have been easier to lower it.
They kept moving when every reason to stop
was sitting right in front of them.
What looks like luck from the outside —
is discipline on the inside.
What looks like a fortunate break —
is awareness that recognized the opportunity
everyone else walked past.
You do not need luck.
You need awareness.
You need authority.
You need action.
The Three A’s do not wait
for a four leaf clover.
They build the field —
and let the clovers grow.
May your day be full of joy —
laughter —
and the quiet knowing —
that everything you are building —
is working.

Not everyone.
A specific one.

or watching from the outside —

Episode 7 of Coffee With Copper. ☕🐾

Copper wakes up at the same time every day.
No alarm.
No negotiating.
No snooze button.
He has had a better morning routine than most people I know
his entire life.
A morning routine does not need to be complicated.
It needs to be kept.
Here is what mine looks like right now.
Wake at the same time daily.
No phone for the first fifteen minutes.
Move my body even if just for five minutes.
Review my top priority before anything else.
Four things.
Twenty minutes.
Done before the world gets my attention.
Consistency beats complexity every single time.
Start small. Stay consistent. Build from there.
That is the discipline phase of Auric in one morning. 🐾

Today I want to stop.
And say something
that does not get said enough.
To every woman reading this —
You are not just important.
You are foundational.
You are the first voice most of us ever heard.
The first hand that held us.
The first example of strength
we ever witnessed up close.
And most of the time —
you did all of that
without anyone stopping to ask
if you were okay.
I see you.
The woman who is holding everything together
while quietly falling apart inside.
The woman who has been told
she is too much —
or not enough —
so many times
she started to believe it.
The woman who has sacrificed her own dreams
to make sure everyone around her
had the space to chase theirs.
The woman who is rebuilding —
after loss —
after betrayal —
after a version of herself
she had to leave behind
to survive.
The woman who is rising —
quietly —
steadily —
without applause —
without recognition —
without anyone knowing
how much it has cost her
to keep going.
I see all of you.
And I want you to know something.
Your strength is not just admirable.
It is extraordinary.
Not because you are perfect.
But because you keep showing up —
imperfectly —
bravely —
and with more love in your heart
than most people will ever fully understand.
To the mothers —
who pour themselves out daily
so their children never feel empty.
To the daughters —
who are still finding their voice
in a world that has not always made space for it.
To the sisters —
who show up for everyone else
even when no one is showing up for them.
To the women who lead —
who build —
who create —
who teach —
who heal —
who love —
who fight —
who rise —
This day belongs to you.
But more than one day —
Your story belongs to you.
Your strength belongs to you.
Your future belongs to you.
And no one —
no circumstance —
no failure —
no person —
no past —
can take that from you
unless you let them.
You were not built to shrink.
You were built to rise.
And rise —
